CDC’s Healthy Schools program is pleased to announce the launch of the e-Learning Series for Training Tools for Healthy Schools: Promoting Health and Academic Success (TTHS). Three TTHS tools were converted to online modules to provide users with:
- Easier and more flexible access to these valuable resources
- Robust Go Further sections with additional information and resources
- Tailored learning experience through self-directed modules ranging from 1 – 1.5 hours
- Continuing education credits (CEU) and certificate of completion
Course Description Course Information School Health Guidelines to Promote Healthy Eating and Physical Activity The SHG provides familiarity with CDC's guidelines and strategies for positive healthy eating and physical activity outcomes. School Health Index: A Self-Assessment and Planning Guide The SHI offers a team approach to improving school health and safety policies and programs. Comprehensive School Physical Activity Program: A Guide for Schools The CSPAP provides guidance to schools and districts on how to develop, implement, and evaluate comprehensive physical activity programs. Parents for Healthy Schools Resources to motivate and educate parents to be part of creating a healthy schools environment.
