Other Screenings

Other recommended, but not required, screenings include blood pressure screenings, growth screenings, and physical assessments. A well child physical examination before starting kindergarten is also recommended. Physical exams prior to the start of third and seventh grades are also advised. Dental examinations are recommended before the start of kindergarten and prior to third and seventh grades. A health appraisal and health history should also be performed.
