Spinal Curvature

School nurses oversee the spinal curvature screening. Screening is mandatory in seventh and eighth grades and is recommended in fifth through ninth grades. Physical education teachers can help with the initial screening process with the use of scoliometer to help determine the severity of the spinal curve.
